Police seize Nicosia man’s PC and hard drives in child porn arrest

A 42-year-old man from Nicosia was arrested on Sunday after police said a search of his home computer revealed a number of child porn video files.

Acting on information, police raided the man’s house in the morning with a search warrant.

A cursory examination of his computer allegedly revealed 18 child porn video files. Officers also found three external hard drives, which have been seized for examination by the Cyber Crimes Unit.

If the evidence pans out, the man will be charged for possession of child pornography.
