Giving hope

The Collection Gallery will be holding a two-day art exhibition and charity silent auction on Thursday and Friday, in support of the Hope for Children UNCRC Policy Centre.

The artwork on display and up for auction, has been created by 24 Cypriot artists and painters. The artists involved in this event are donating their art work to the cause in the hope that their contribution will help the policy centre continue to give hope to children by working towards upholding, protecting and ensuring that children’s rights are put in place.

These artists have focused on works which highlight the theme of love. Their bright colours and light also reflect the theme and the hope that they wish to provide.

The exhibition will also showcase creations with glass and wood.

The event will be inaugurated by the president of the Rotary Club of Nicosia, Dikran Ouzounian and the director of the gallery, Rebecca Tornaritis. A reception will follow with complimentary Makkas wine.
The event is part of the Love Festival 2016 and the artwork included in the auction will start off at a low price so we can all have a chance at helping to spread hope.
