New term at House for unopposed Mahdessian

Vartkes Mahdessian

Mahdessian, is to be formally declared as the representative of the Armenian religious group on Thursday by the Chief Returning Officer Constantinos Nicolaides, an hour after the deadline for objections on MP candidacies expires. Mahdessian has held the same position since 2006.
