Cypriot arrested after Greek demos

A 21-year-old Cypriot student studying in Greece was arrested on Sunday during anti-austerity protests in Athens.
She is among 14 individuals who have been detained by the Greek police.
A representative of the Cypriot embassy in Athens told the Cyprus News Agency, the student had been arrested on Sunday for disturbing the peace, attempted grievous bodily harm to a police officer and for violating gun laws.
She is expected to be taken before court but has not requested legal assistance from the embassy.
