Bank of Cyprus, the island’s largest lender, said that five affiliated companies sold 1,445,499 shares for €216,824, €0.15 each.
The five companies are Les Coraux Estates Ltd, which sold 658,473 shares, Kermia Properties and Investments Ltd, 374,168 shares, Vieman Ltd, 136,463, Smooland Properties Ltd, 186,540 shares and Threefield Properties 89,855 shares, the bank said in a statement on the website of the Cyprus Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
All transactions took place on Tuesday, according to the statement. No details of who bought the shares were provided.
All companies are fully owned by Bank of Cyprus according to the lender’s 2015 financial report. The bank’s press office was not immediately available for comment.
