Fire in Paphos burns animals, destroys trucks

A fire raging in Kallepia, Paphos caused up to €40,000 in damages early on Monday morning, burning animals alive and destroying several trucks.

Police believe it was an arson attack.

The fire, on private premises began at 4am.

The owner had agricultural equipment and a pickup truck in the field along with four tractors. There were chickens and rabbits nearby that also burned.

Investigations continue.
