Anastasiades in Athens

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and President Anastasiades are due to meet this afternoon

PRESIDENT Nicos Anastasiades will be heading to Greece next week and will meet with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday.

According to government spokesman Nicos Christodoulides, the two leaders will be discussing the Cyprus problem, energy and Turkey’s request to abolish visas for travel to the EU.

Anastasiades will be arriving in Athens on May 25 after attending the World Humanitarian Summit 2016 in Turkey.

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides will also be in Greece on Wednesday for the National Council on Foreign Policy session hosted by the Greek foreign ministry.
