The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Cyprus Institute and the Institut Français, in the presence of France’s Ambassador Rene Troccaz, allowing the co-organisation of scientific conferences and symposia, scientific exhibitions, and promote researcher mobility between France and Cyprus.

“Both the scientific excellence and the strategic position of the Cyprus Institute make it an ideal bridge for scientific cooperation between Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean Region. We look forward to working together on issues of common interest in the area” said Troccaz.

Professor Costas Papanicolas, President of the Cyprus Institute said the “scientific partnership with France has already produced impressive results, based on excellence and a shared vision.
