Previous congress in Athens

ONE of the biggest congresses of international law offices is taking place in Cyprus on May 26 and 27.

The conference is being held at the Capo Bay hotel at Protaras under the auspices of the AEA – Organisation of Lawyers.

The congress will host 150 representatives of internationally reputable law offices from 50 different countries.

The congress is being organised by Yiannos G. Georgiades, from the Y. Georgiades & Associates LLC law office who is also Vice President of the AEA – Organisation of Lawyers.

The congress will be attended by the government representatives from the ministry of energy, commerce, industry and tourism, the ministry of finance and the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA).

“The congress is considered a notable event for Cyprus and it gives the opportunity to renowned and internationally reputable lawyers to meet on the island, who would then act as ambassadors for Cyprus in their own countries, in promoting and developing cooperation ties with Cyprus in the field of investment and tourism,” a news release from the organisers said.
