A day to celebrate children

Children’s Day, or The International Day for the Protection of Children is marked on June 1. To celebrate this day and also help children in need, Larnaca will host two events on Sunday.

The May Fair, organised by the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) will combine everything needed to keep a child happy. There will be face painting, bouncy castles, remote controlled cars for the kids to play with, rides on a Harley, bowling, fishing, arts and crafts, and many more activities.

You could also go home with a pet fish, plants and flowers, or a few books.

Also in Livadia in the Larnaca district, the third Happy Festival will entertain children and adults at the Ayia Paraskevis park from 5pm.

There will be games for children, story time, theatrical performance, drawing, bouncy castles, a train ride and also the kids will get to see police cars and fire engines up close.

Singing and dancing will also be part of the day, plus free ice-cream, water and gifts for all children.

If you have children, then Larnaca is really the place to be on Sunday.
