More than 30 calls for assistance in 24 hours

The Fire Service on Friday responded to nine calls relating to removing cars and tree branches from flooded roads in Nicosia and Limassol, it said in a statement on Saturday.

In total, the Fire Service said, from 6am Friday to 6am Saturday, it responded to 32 calls for assistance, 10 for fires, 19 special service calls, one call requesting an ambulance, and two fake calls.
