Girl,13, slightly injured in hit and run on Tombs of the Kings Avenue

A 13-year-old girl was slightly injured on Saturday night in a hit and run on Tombs of the Kings Avenue in Paphos.

According to police the incident happened at 8.10pm when the girl was crossing the road. The driver fled the scene but by 8.30pm had turned himself in to Paphos police station.

The girl was taken by ambulance to Paphos hospital where she received first aid and was kept in overnight for precautionary reasons.
The driver, 27, was charged in writing to appear in court at a later date.
