Thirteen elementary schools participate in “Recycle and Create” contest

Thirteen elementary schools in Larnaca district participate in the “Recycle and Create” contest, which is organised by the Foundation of Cultural Creativity for Children and Youth, a Cypriot NGO.

According to a press release, groups from the schools that participate in the contest are invited to create a three dimensional art work by using recycled materials.

The aim of the contest is to promote art and creativity, while using alternative materials, as the recycled ones.

The presentation of the art works and the prize ceremony will take place in the premises of the Foundation on the 2nd of June, in the framework of the events for the World Environment Day, in cooperation with the Larnaca Municipality.
