Never let the music go

If you’re planning to go to work on Tuesday, you may want to think again because the performance by the British band Rudimental on Monday is sure to keep you up way past your bedtime.

Here again to get the waves at Makronissos Beach Club rising to the beat, Rudimental are sure to keep Ayia Napa on the party map.

The boys, who have been rocking the music scene since 2012, are Piers Agget, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden and DJ Locksmith or, as he is known off-stage, Leon Rolle. The quartet were nominated for a Mercy Prize in 2013, a prize given for the best album from the UK and Ireland, and won several awards including the Brit Award and the Mobo Award (an award for music of black origin) in the category of Best Album for their album Home, which debuted at number one in the UK albums chart. And, just to add to their pile of achievements, the band have had multiple platinum record sales in a number of countries, including the UK and Australia.

Since the band were here last, they have been busy releasing their second album entitled We the Generation, so expect to hear something new and know that when they perform Never Let You Go, they mean it, their music will never let you go from a natural high.

Live performance. June 27. Makronissos Beach Club, Ayia Napa. 7pm-1.30am. Tel: 99-8888327
