A country vibe for charity

If you like country music and if you love dogs, then the PAWS country and western independence day event in Paphos on Monday will give you that two for one kind of feeling.

Celebrating independence day, the country music band Arizona will perform to raise funds for the PAWS dog shelter. The band – made up of bassist, keyboardist and singer Terry Taylor, gospel singer and guitarist David Ball and singer Debbie Osbourne – will give it their all for a good cause.

And this yeeehaa event is a steal at only €10, including a barbeque buffet, a great show and the chance for you to be a winner if your cowboy hat is chosen as the best on the dancefloor.

You can get your tickets from the PAWS shelter, the Acheleia and PAWS shop in Chlorakas, or at the Costa Rica bar – just opposite the Laura Beach hotel.

So get ready for a finger-licking, heel-clicking good time, and don’t forget to leave your cowboy hat on.
