Anastasiades tweets Ramadan message in Turkish

A CyBC poll puts President Nicos Anastasiades way ahead of his opponents

President Nicos Anastasiades on Tuesday extended his wishes for a happy Ramadan in Turkish through his Twitter account.

The tweet said “a Happy Ramadan, with the wish for us to live peacefully together again in a united Cyprus”.

“Birlesik bir Kibris’ta, baris icinde yeniden bir arada yasamamiz dilegiyle… Ramazan Bayraminiz kutlu olsun,” the president’s tweet said.

The wishes are on the occasion of the Eid Al-Fitr celebration which follows the end of the month of Ramadan, during which Muslims undergo a period of fasting.
