I find that the house resolution in Cyprus to end EU sanctions on Russia for their occupation of a part of the Ukraine utterly disgusting.
What a bunch of hypocrites they are. Do they actually understand what they are saying? First they ask the world to apply sanctions /pressure on Turkey to remove their troops from Cyprus which was an invasion of a large power over a weaker country and now they say let’s not punish Russia for invading and occupying a part of the Ukraine. What is the difference between the two? Nothing!
We must apologise to the Ukrainian people for this disgraceful occurrence and hope that the government treats this resolution with the contempt that it deserves. How can the world take Cyprus seriously when their MPs behave so hypocritically?
