As you will probably be heading to the beach anyway on Saturday with your beach towels, why not stop off at the Limassol Municipal football stadium and help break the Guinness World Record for the longest chain of people holding beach towels?
The event, which starts at 9am, is organised by the Magic Always Happens non-profit organisation and the Limassol Municipality, to raise awareness about autism.
To go beyond the previously held record, a total of 4,444 people are needed, so grab a beach towel, as many friends as you can and be at the stadium for 8.30am – to give everyone enough time to find the end of the chain and link on.
Magic Always Happens also invites volunteer professional photographers to come and take photos of the event and someone to take a video. If you are interested in volunteering for the event, send an email to [email protected]
Everyone involved are welcome to stay on after the record has been broken to enjoy a music programme.
