Raising the Greek tempo

If you are a Greek music fan, hold off everything for Wednesday, because you will be heading to the Dolce Club in Limassol where 15 well-known names in the Greek music arena will perform.

After the party mood has been warmed-up by DJ Jenny Tsiko, presenter Lambros Konstantaras will lead us through the entertainment for the night.

Georgos Tsalikis must really love our island, because he will be here again to join in the musical fun. Tsalikis was a medical student who found that the operating table just wasn’t for him and he was more drawn to the stage. So he begam a music career in 2001 and has been making people move to his music ever since.

Joining Tsalikis will be Lambis Livieratos. The singer made it big in the 90s and has never really stopped rocking. Also a singer who didn’t intend to end up that way, Livieratos started his career as an actor. But it seems that music won him over too and he started singing in night clubs in 1992.

The girl who represented Greece in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest after becoming well-known through her participation in the second season of the Greek version of The X Factor, Eleftheria Eleftheriou, will also be part of the party.

One of our own – from Frenaros – Eleftheriou released her first album in 2014 and has been nominated and won a few very prestigious awards, like Best Cypriot Artist at the Madame Figaro awards 2012.

Other artists to perform are Chrispa, Kostas Doxas, Dimitris Giotis, Giannis Kritikos, George Yiaseis, Thanos Tzanis, Anna Iracleous, Kostas Orphanides, Evros Antoniou, Giannis Panopoulos and the band Master Tempo.
