Home burgled in Kissonerga

The burglary of a Russian woman’s home in Kissonerga, Paphos, is being investigated by police, a statement said on Wednesday.

According to a police report, the Russian woman reported that, sometime between 6:30pm Tuesday and 1am Wednesday, unidentified burglars broke into her home and stole the sum of $4,000 in cash, an empty white safe, and two electronic devices, all worth a total €6,640.

Also stolen was a folder containing the owner’s personal documents.

Policemen from the Peyia police station arrived at the scene and collected evidence.

Investigation revealed that the burglars entered and exited the house via a window that had been closed but unlocked.
