Man hospitalised after beating

An unidentified man was hospitalised after he was beaten up in Ayia Napa early on Thursday morning.

Police were notified at 3.40am that a man had been transported to a private clinic and was being treated for various injuries. The man lost two teeth and had bruises and abrasions on various parts of his body.

He was allegedly injured in a fight which involved four or five other people at around 2am outside a pub at the centre of Ayia Napa.

The injured man has so far not been able to tell police anything on how he had been injured.
