Man arrested for growing cannabis

A 26-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after police found three cannabis plants in his house in the Limassol district.

According to police, the plants were found by members of the drug squad in the yard of the 26-year-old’s house.

The plants were between 1.2 metres and 2.2 metres high. Officers also found a precision scale, a crusher with traces of cannabis on it and a cardboard box containing the stems of cannabis plant.

The 26-year-old said the plants were his and that they were for his personal use.
