Greek entertainment channel in Cyprus from end of September

Greek TV channel Epsilon will be transmitting to viewers in Cyprus by the end of September after an agreement was reached over the trade name of the channel, reports say.

The new Cypriot television station – which focuses on entertainment and news – is owned Proteas Productions & Media Ltd, a subsidiary of EPSILON TV, and the general manager of the station will be Constantina Christodoulou.

The hiring of administrative and editorial staff is in the early stages though discussions with various people have started. It will air on the PlusTV frequency.

Christodoulou is reported as saying the station will be housed in the former premises of LTV in Pyrga, and will use the same logo as that of the Greek channel. It will be called “E Channel Cy.”
