Makarios Children's hospital

A four-and-a-half-year-old boy was in serious but stable condition on Friday after suffering head injury while at a playground in Larnaca.

Police were notified of the incident at around 10.30pm after the child was taken to hospital.

Officers determined that the boy, from Livadhia, sustained a fracture to his cranium when he fell off a trampoline at a playground in Larnaca at around 8pm.

He was rushed to the town’s hospital and subsequently transferred to Nicosia’s Makarios children’s hospital due to the severity of his injury.

Doctors said his condition was serious but stable.
