Nea Salamina footie boots nicked

Football boots worth around €14,000 were stolen on Wednesday night from the training grounds of Nea Salamina football club in Meneou, Larnaca

The theft of some 70 pairs of boots worth €200 each and four pairs of goalie’s gloves was reported at Kiti police station by the first division club’s kit manager.

No CCTV cameras overlook the premises and the boots were not insured.
