San Marino gets ‘high five’ from Cyprus

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides with his San Marino counterpart Pasquale Valentini

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides told his San Marino counterpart Pasquale Valentini on Friday that Cyprus will stand by the small state, as well as Andorra and Monaco, in their bid to conclude association agreement with the European Union.

Both officials agreed to exchange experts that will look into Cyprus’ financial crisis and its path to recovery, with the aim to share experiences in dealing with similar issues. “Small countries need to join forces and display full solidarity,” Kasoulides said.
