Retail turnover up 2.6% in August, Cystat says

Cyprus’s retail trade turnover rose an annual 2.6 per cent in August in terms of value, and 1.8 per cent in terms of volume, the statistical service said.

In the first eight months of the year, the retail trade value index rose 2.2 per cent while the volume index rose 4.5, compared to the respective period of 2015, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

The figures exclude motor vehicles.
