Teenagers arrested for possession of burglary tools

Famagusta police arrested two teenage boys after stopping their vehicle for a check early Tuesday and finding burglary tools.

The car, being driven by a 19-year-old, with two passengers, aged 17 and 14, was pulled over on the Paralimni to Ayia Napa road at around 2.40am.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of four screwdrivers, an adze hammer, a pair of rubber gloves, and a woollen hood.

The two older boys were arrested and held for possession of burglary tools.

Famagusta CID are continuing investigations.
