Clocks going back tonight

Clocks will be moved back by an hour at 4am on Sunday as winter time comes into force.

Wintertime will remain in force until the last Sunday of March 2017.

In the north, clocks will remain the same as it was decided last month to follow Turkey’s decision not to return to daylight-saving time, thus the island will have two time zones an hour apart.
