Man injured outside pub refuses to give details to police

A 40-year-old Romanian man was injured in an attack outside a pub in Larnaca in the early hours of Sunday.

According to police, at around 2am they received a call from the Larnaca general hospital that a man had been brought in by ambulance who said he had been beaten with a wooden club outside a pub.

Doctors were treating him for a fractured left arm and he was expected to undergo surgery.

Officers went to the hospital to interview the injured man but he refused to say anything about the incident, only that he was attacked outside a pub in Larnaca. Police went to the pub and carried out some investigations but could not find any witnesses to the attack.
