Where do you live?

Best childhood memory?
The huge and bright pink bougainvillea that used to grow in our Protaras garden. Every year it would get bigger and bigger until one year it was poisoned. A bittersweet memory.

Most frequented restaurant and absolute favourite dish? What food would you really turn your nose up to?
I always visit Sora Pia when visiting my family in Rome- they have the best wild mushrooms. I can’t stand beetroot – it makes me feel sick even thinking of it! Shame because the colour is quite remarkable.

What did you have for breakfast?

Would you class yourself as a day or night person? What’s your idea of the perfect night/day out?
I’m definitely a night person. At night I become very awake and it’s when I work best. My perfect day would be spent with friends during the day, and the entire night would be spent making work in my studio.

Best book ever read?
I loved The Picture of Dorian Gray. It’s just so amazing how insightful and forward thinking Oscar Wilde was. He binds the narrative and morals so well that it sucks you right in.

Favourite film of all time?
It has to be Titanic. Why? Four and a half hours of Jack of course!

Favourite holiday destination?
It’s not really a holiday destination but I love Cuba. The crumbling beauty paired with such a volatile political environment really enchants and interests me.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Pink Floyd

What is always in your fridge?

Dream house: rural retreat or urban dwelling? Where would it be, what would it be like?
I’ve lived in cities all my life so it would have to be urban. My dream is to have a big house with a studio and a garden – near a park. I love parks.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
I would take Freddie Mercury out as a thanks for the hours I spend listening to his music.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
I would make sure the people that I love really know how much I love them.

What is your greatest fear?
Spiders morphing into cockroaches and living forever

Tell me a joke…
I’m awful with jokes.

Miranda’s first solo exhibition in Cyprus is being held at Gallery K until November 21. The collection includes paintings, taxidermy and sculptures
