Shots fired at Avgorou house

A wall of a house in Avgorou was damaged in the early morning hours on Tuesday when shots were fired at the building.

A 40-year-old resident of the house reported to police that 12 or 13 shots were fired at the back of her residence around 3.10am.

She allegedly saw a hooded man from a window who was around 1.75 metres tall and of normal physique leaving the area.

Upon visiting the scene members of the police force found evidence of the gun shots possibly fired from an automatic gun.

The woman is divorced and lives with her daughter.
