Antiquities seized

 

Police issued a number of arrest warrants on Wednesday after a large number of antiquities were located in three establishments in the Limassol district.

During a search operation on Wednesday morning in seven establishments, police said, a large number of antiquities were located in three of them. The objects were located in a house in Pissouri and a warehouse in Erimi. In another house in Moutagiaka, police located 22 bronze coins of the Roman and early Christian period.

Police said they have issued arrest warrants against a number of persons in connection with the case.
