Cyprus, Greece and Israel to sign Research and Technology Memorandum

The heads of government of Cyprus, Greece and Israel are expected to sign a Memorandum on Research & Technology on Thursday in the context of a Trilateral Summit taking place in Jerusalem.

President Nicos Anastasiades arrived in Israel on Wednesday evening accompanied by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Agriculture Minister Nicos Kouyialis, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides and other officials.

Before the Trilateral Summit, on Thursday morning, Anastasiades will have a bilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the meantime, trilateral ministerial meetings are expected to take place on energy and environmental matters on the sidelines of the summit.

After their trilateral meeting, Anastasiades, Netanyahu and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras are expected to sign a Memorandum on Research & Innovation.

Afterwards, Netanyahu will host a working lunch.

Anastasiades and the Cypriot delegation return to Cyprus on Friday morning.
