Three arrested after burglary tools found

Three young men were arrested in Limassol after goods, which police believe to be stolen, and tools used for break-ins were found in their possession, it emerged Wednesday.

“A 19 and two 18-year-olds were last night (Tuesday) arrested on judicial warrants and detained to facilitate inquiries concerning an ongoing investigation into a case of conspiracy to commit a felony, theft and possession of burglary tools,” police said.

A search of the 19-year-old’s vehicle turned up 21 car batteries, bolt cutters and other tools which were taken as evidence.

Polemidia police station are investigating the case.
