Another dog thrown off balcony

A man was questioned in connection with a dog having been thrown over

a balcony of a block of flats, police said Wednesday.

“A man aged 26 was yesterday (Tuesday) questioned after police
received information, that at midday he had thrown a small dog from
the first floor balcony of an apartment block in Larnaca district.”

Police said they immediately made their way to the scene to
investigate, found the dog, and took it straight to a vet for

Kiti police, who are investigating the case say the 26-year-old is
expected to be charged at a later stage. This was the second incident of a dog been thrown off an apartment block balcony in the last 10 days. In the earlier incident the dog was killed.
