€10,000 grabbed off shop owner

A 70-year-old Nicosia shop owner was beaten up and robbed of €10,000 on Sunday evening, according to police.

The victim reported that he was attacked by two unknown persons in a car park in Nicosia around 8.10pm.

They hit him with their fists and snatched his shoulder bag containing €10,000 in cash and three cheques before fleeing the scene.
