Police warn of increased Green Monday traffic

Police warned of increased traffic both on highways and secondary roads on Monday as people head out to the countryside to market Green Monday, the start of Orthodox Lent.

“We remind all drivers to always be careful and to observe the highway code. Also remember that alcohol and driving do not go together,” the force said on its Facebook page.
