Shots fired at Nicosia house

Police are investigating after shots were fired at a house in Engomi, Nicosia in the early morning on Monday, causing damage to the door of the building.

The 66-year-old owner of the house reported to police that around 2.20am two shots were fired at the house, probably from a hunting rifle.

Police officers immediately went to the scene and found that the shots caused damage to an aluminium door of the living room.
