Arrested for possession of stolen property, ammunition

Paphos police on Thursday arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with possession of stolen property and munitions.

Police arrested the man after a search of his car just after midnight. During the search, officers found watches, earrings, and other valuables, whose origin he could not explain.

Four assault rifle rounds were also found, police said.

The man was arrested as Paphos CID continues its investigation.
