British high commissioner to hold open meeting for UK residents in Paphos

THE British High Commission has confirmed that they will hold an open meeting in Emba in Paphos on June 16

A spokesman for the British High Commission in Nicosia told the Cyprus Mail that the meeting for British residents in the Paphos area, will offer them an opportunity to meet High Commissioner Matthew Kidd.

“He will provide an update on the current work of the High Commission in Cyprus and be able to answer questions from residents about issues of concern, including on Brexit.”

The British High Commissioner will speak for around an hour and British ex pat residents will then be invited to ask questions and voice any concerns.

“Matthew Kidd will touch base with the Paphos community and the aim of this event is for information gathering and a question and answer session.”

Similar events are taking place at other towns in Cyprus

The meeting will take place at Stage One Theatre in Emba, Paphos  on Friday June 16 from noon until 2pm. Entrance to the event is free and no reservations are necessary.
