Syrians sent back to Turkey

Twelve Syrian nationals tried to enter Cyprus hidden inside cargo containers shipped to Famagusta port in the north, from Turkey, Turkish Cypriot newspaper Kibris reported on Saturday.

The 12, including two women, were found on Friday afternoon following a tip off.

They were hiding in containers carried by two lorries. They were sent back to Turkey.
