Seven immigrants picked up in Akaki

Police found seven illegal immigrants around midnight on Tuesday in Akaki, Nicosia who had crossed from the north.

One of them is a 24-year-old woman with two children, aged six and two-and-a-half years. The other four are aged 16 and 17.

Welfare officers are taking care of the minors.
