High-rises to dominate Limassol sea-front

High-rise buildings, that were unknown in Cyprus until recently, are set to become a big feature of the Limassol sea-front.

Cybarco’s recently completed Oval, in the heart of Limassol’s business centre, is the tallest office building, made up of 16 floors that reach 75 metres. Taller buildings are currently under construction on the Limassol sea-front.

One Residence on the sea-front will rise 170 metres and will consist of 37 storeys, making it, according to the developer Pafilia, the tallest residential sea-front tower in Europe. However, plans are also underway for the Lanitis Seafront, that is to be built on the Lanitis mansion site and one of the towers will boast 37 floors.

Leptos Eastates’ meanwhile will build the Limassol Del Mar which will not go as high as some of the other residential developments but will stretch across 170 metres of the land’s sea frontage.
