Forest fires in Fasouri under control

A forest fire broke out in Fasouri on Thursday morning burning wild vegetation and stubble before being brought under control an hour later.

According to a Forestry Department the fire broke out at around 6am in the Fasouri forest. It was brought under control by 7am.

In total, 25 men from the Forestry Department, British Bases and the fire department and five fire engines were used to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
