No injured Cypriots reported in Italy quake

The foreign ministry has no information about Cypriot nationals being among the injured from the earthquake in Naples, it was announced on Tuesday.

In a written statement, the ministry said it was monitoring the situation closely and was in touch with the island’s embassy in Role as well as with Italian authorities.

“So far there is no information about Cypriot citizens being among the victims or facing any serious problem as a result of the earthquake,” the ministry said.
