Biker seriously injured in Larnaca

A motorcyclist was on Thursday being treated for serious head injuries after in an accident on Wednesday in Larnaca.

According to police, a 47-year-old driver, a resident of Dromolazia, cut the path of the motorbike rider when he was turning his car from Kimonos street into Chrysopolitissis street.

The 36-year-old biker from Larnaca was injured in the crash and taken to the local general hospital.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was diagnosed with a brain injury.

The driver of the car was not under the influence of alcohol.
