Kiosk fraud arrests

Kiosk employees arrested

Police on Thursday arrested two employees of a kiosk in Paphos in connection with theft from the premises.

The two men, aged 40 and 42, were arrested after the owner of the kiosk told police that between January 1 and August 13, 399 prepaid cards with a total value of €21,375 were issued without the cash being paid into the register.

Evidence pointed to the involvement of the two employees, who were remanded for six days.
