Foodies come together

There has been something missing from the capital over August. A certain smell has been missing from the air, a certain beat and a mixture of flavours from the city centre. Well, they won’t be missing for much longer when the Fork Food Market returns to the Nicosia Municipal Gardens as of Friday.

According to organisers “the recipe of its success will pretty much remain the same: good food, enjoyable music, beautiful atmosphere.”

Wanting to thank loyal foodies who visit the food event, the organisers added that “people who are present at the events always add a wonderful vibe to the set up”.

On the off chance that you are Nicosian and you haven’t been to the Fork Food Market before, or you are visiting our lovely capital and haven’t heard of the street food festival, then here is what you can expect. There will be burgers galore with home-made sauces, pulled-pork dishes, Thai vegetarian wraps, crunchy Churros, freshly made pizza, ice-cream and many more flavours that will have you huffing and puffing over which stall to visit. There will also be beer on tap and some lemonade.

The food market will be open from 7pm until 11pm, with the bar and music continuing until 12am. The event will be repeated on September 8, 15, 29 and October 6.
