Consumer prices rose in October 0.1 per cent compared to the respective month of 2016 as cheaper manufactured products offset the impact of less affordable energy products, agricultural produce and services, the statistical service said.
Fuel prices rose last month an annual 3.8 per cent while electricity prices rose 1.8 per cent, Cystat said on Thursday. Produce prices rose 2.7 per cent while those of services rose 0.6 per cent. Prices for manufactured goods dropped 1.4 per cent.
In January to October, consumer prices rose 0.7 per cent compared to the respective ten-month period last year, Cystat said.
Consumer prices an annual 0.4 per cent in September and 1.2 per cent in October 2016.
